For many years now we have tried to have art taught to our youth club members at the clubs. Not easy to find someone who is willing to drive into the different townships to teach…

We have finaly found the answer…

Her her name is Julan Briant. What a super star this lady is undaunted by the mileage she has to travel or the very limiting conditions she has to work with she has conquered all and has now visited all the club’s and will teach once a month in each club.RDT ART 4

Thank you Julan from all of us at Rainbow Dreams Trust…

All of our Rainbow Dreams Trust Argus 2016 riders had a fabulous day.

Perfect weather only one prang when Chris collided with another rider. But fortunately no one was hurt badly and we all continued. It has to make for an easier ride when struggling up the hills…

You know why you are doing this… There is a purpose…

PALESA our blind friend who’s dream is to go to university…

RDT rgus

Her pre race message from Bloomfontein to her intrepid team was… Race safely... Race speedily… Be victorious…

Not so sure about the speed… But we were safe and victorious.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR GENEROUS SPONSORS…

Palesa can now complete her bridging course at UFS… Yes!!!

Another plan came together and all because of people’s caring, generosity and commitment.
Roll on Argus 2017!

Rainbow Dreams Trust are so fortunate to have so many loyal supporters.

Richard Fasham, Bob Warne President of Bradley Stoke Rotary Club and Sandra Crawshaw both visited our project IKHAYA CRECHE in Phillipi.

Bob and his club have helped us refurbish and build on extra rooms at the creche.

We could not have done this without his help.rdt bob

This year, Bob and Richard took time out to install a whiteboard for the children to learn how to draw and decorated the rooms with some bright stickers.

Sandra who visits Cape Town every year always arrives with BUNDLES of clothes for Mama Sizwe’s creche children.

What special people… You all make the world a better place.
THANK YOU!

Rainbow Dreams Trust Tutors monthly meeting in MASIPHUMULELE.

Sitting around the table with these dedicated tutors was joyous. It has been my dream for do long to have a good educational system operating on our Township youth clubs and we have finally managed to establish this.rdt tut

In our 4 clubs we now have 8 tutors. They teach our children two days a week assisting them in Maths and English..

The children are over the moon…

They are seeing the light in these two subjects.rdt tutors

Thank you Rainbow Dreams tutors for your dedication and commitment and to quote what one of you said at our meeting…
“Let us help these precious souls to become leaders of tomorrow… To the best of our ability”…

Masiphumulele club house is by far our nicest venue and a place that our club members can call their own. Finally we were able to paint our beloved rainbow on the walls.

What a special day it was.rdt m1

All the club members got together with Asiphe one of our leaders and a wonderful volunteer Sibabale Silk.

The children were able to paint their own drawings and sayings on the wall.

From the mouths of babes? How rewarding to see that so many of them agree that education is the key…

What a lovely sight…

Our Masiphumulele club members working with their tutors.
